1. Basic Policy
Recognizing the importance of personal information protection, Fukuda Sangyo Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the “Company”) complies with applicable laws, rules and company regulations concerning personal information, collects personal information by lawful and fair methods, and uses and manages the collected information properly.
2. Use of personal information
The Company uses personal information within the scope of the purpose of use indicated when it is collected and to the extent necessary for the performance of its business.
If the Company shares personal information with any third party or consigns the handling of personal information to any third party, the Company properly oversees the said third party to ensure that it keeps the information confidential. The Company does not share sensitive personal information with any third party.
3. Provision of personal information to third parties
The Company does not provide personal information to third parties without obtaining prior consent from the person related to such personal information unless the disclosure is required by law.
When providing personal information to any third party, the Company records the date of provision, the receiver of the information and the information provided.
4. Management of personal information
The Company maintains the accuracy of the information provided by customers and manages it securely according to the company regulations that specify the handling method in detail.
The Company takes appropriate information security measures against unauthorized access, computer viruses, and other risks to prevent loss, destruction, falsification, and leakage of personal information.
To prevent leakage of personal information, the Company does not permit any employee to carry personal information out of the office or transmit it to anyone outside the office.
5. Disclosure, correction, suspension of use, and deletion of personal information
If an individual requests disclosure, correction, suspension of use, deletion, or any other action, of the personal information related to that individual, and if the Company confirms that the person has the right to make such a request, the Company shall provide the individual with information pertaining to procedures to make a formal request for such. Upon receipt of the formal request, the Company will accept it without question and promptly take the requested action.
Opinions and questions regarding the handling of personal information at the Company should be directed to the inquiry section in charge of personal information.
6. Organizations and systems
The Company appoints personal information protection controllers who are responsible for the appropriate management of personal information.
The Company provides officers and employees with training on how to protect and properly manage personal information to ensure that it is properly handled in daily operations.
7. Development, implementation, maintenance, and improvement of compliance programs for protecting personal information
The Company develops compliance programs related to personal information protection (including this Policy, the Information Security Policy, and other regulations and rules) to implement this Policy; communicates these programs to Company employees and other related parties; and implements, maintains and continuously improves the programs.
